Nathan Salazar is an Army Veteran of 10 years, with a background in Network Engineering and Information Technology. After his honorable discharge in 2006, he began working with the Army as a Field Network Engineer, responsible for hundreds of hours of training provided to soldiers annually. Nathan discovered a passion for helping others through education, witnessing their “AHA” moment and the impact that followed.
After successfully re-entering the Private Sector workforce in 2015 as a Support Engineer with Cisco, he continued to find ways to help train those around him and began witnessing inefficiencies in the methods and materials that were being used. Thus was born KWT. Incorporating his natural gifts for troubleshooting and efficiency, Nathan started to create his own training resources. The goal? To replicate the supportive in-person environment, he had seen so many learners thrive in, and combine it with the convenience of virtual training. The result? Concise, situational content delivered along with personal access to instructors and a community of peers, ensuring the highest level of success for each of his customers.
As president of KWT, Nathan is passionate about impacting the lives of others by sharing education at a level they can relate to. He has a particular affinity for helping those in the military who are in transition to civilian employment (including several of KWT’s instructors) and is eager to share his experiences. Nathan studied Information Technology at Franklin University and has held as many as 7 IT certifications with a focus on Cisco Systems Technologies. He currently resides in Raleigh with his two children, where he is grateful for his freedom and loves living life to the fullest.
